Well this was a spare of the moment session and we only had 12 hours to fish so we was well and truely up against it especially as the onsite tackle shop had said it was fishing really hard at the moment.
We got setup on the lake at about half 5ish and there was fish jumping out in front of us.
The first fish came to me within the hour of casting out and weighed in at 19lb exactly.
About 1 hour later my rod was off again from the same spot, this time a smaller fish weighing 16lb 8oz.
That was it for the night untill Karll was rudely woken up by his buzzer screaming and him shouting at the ducks, (it wasnt ducks) He ran out his bivvy and struck in to it. About 10 min later its on the bank and weighing in at a new PB for him at 30lb 6oz. (well done mate)
It just goes to show we know what we are doing. Bring on the British carp championship 2011.
