Seeings as you use a spod mix i assume you use a marker rod for a sight to aim for.
What spod rod and reel also what marker rod and reel do you have?

i do not have my own yet mate.i will be getting a spod rod, marker rod and 2 reels next year.i borrow my mates as i fish with him just about every session but most f my fishing is done to the near or far margin so then i put the spod mix in by hand or a bait spoon as its alot easyer and it dose not spook the fish.i will find out what spod, marker rod and reels my mate has got.i think they are shimano.

Oh i dont think a bait spoon would be appropriate for me as i fish at around 80-100+ yards lol.
No worries i fishing with big pva bags and a huge catty atm but i would proffer to use small bags and more spod.
